Aukko

Aukko on yksi kolmesta tekijästä, jotka määräävät valotuksen. Aukon kotelossa on ohuita metallilevyjä, jotka avautuvat ja sulkeutuvat päästäen valoa aukon läpi kameraan. Aukon koko liittyy valon määrään: Suuri aukko päästää kameraan enemmän valoa kuin pieni aukko.

Aukon koko esitetään aukkosuhteena, eli F-lukuna. F-luku on polttoväli jaettuna objektiivin halkaisijalla. Jos objektiivin polttoväli on esimerkiksi 50 mm ja f-arvo F2, aukon halkaisija on 25 mm. (50 mm / 25 mm= F2)

Mitä pienempi f-arvo, sitä suurempi aukon koko.

Aukon koko määritetään valoarvona (EV). Valoarvon suurentaminen (+1 EV) merkitsee sitä, että valon määrä kaksinkertaistuu. Valoarvon pienentäminen (-1 EV) merkitsee sitä, että valon määrä puolittuu. Voit myös hienosäätää valon määrää valotuksen korjaustoiminnolla jakamalla valoarvot osiin, kuten 1/2 tai 1/3 EV.
