Calling

Learn to use calling functions, such as making and
answering calls, using options available during a call or
customizing and using call-related features.

Make and answer a call

You can use the buttons or the touch screen when you
make, accept, end or reject calls.
Make a call
In Menu mode, select

Keypad and enter an area code
and a phone number.
Press [

] to make a call.
To end the call, press [

].
Use the phonebook to save numbers you dial •
frequently. ► p. 67
To quickly access the call log to redial numbers •
you dialed recently, press [ ]
→
Call.
Answer a call
When a call comes in, press [

].
When the device is ringing, press the Volume key to
adjust the volume, or press and hold the Volume key
down to mute the ringtone.
To end the call, press [

].
Reject a call
When a call comes in, press [ ]. The caller will hear a
busy tone.
You can set up a list of numbers to reject incoming •
calls automatically. ► p. 35
You can send a message when you reject •
incoming calls.
