To use GPS applications of your device, you can connect to an external GPS receiver and enhance the GPS functionality.

Connect to an external GPS receiver

By default, the device uses the internal GPS receiver but you can connect to an external GPS receiver.

3 On the Basic Settings tab, tap General Settings > GPS > Connection.

4 In GPS program port drop-down menu, tap a port for GPS applications.

5 In GPS hardware port drop-down menu, tap a port for the external GPS receiver.

6 Select the baud rate and set whether or not to manage GPS automatically.
