Calling

Learn to use calling functions, such as making and answering calls, using options available during a call or customising and using call-related features.

You can use the buttons or the touch screen when you make, accept, end or reject calls.

●● When you turn on the proximity sensor, your device automatically turns off and locks the touch screen to prevent accidental inputs when you hold the device near your face. ► p. 127

●● Static electricity discharged from your body or clothing may interfere with the proximity sensor during a call.

Make a call

In Idle mode, open the application list and select Phone

→ , and enter an area code and a phone number.

to make a voice call.

For a video call, select .

To end the call, select End call.
