Auto: I de fleste situationer er det bedst at bruge autofokusfunktionen, fordi du så kan koncentrere dig om den kreative side af optagelsen.

Manuel: Det kan være nødvendigt med manuel fokusering under visse forhold, hvor det er svært eller upålideligt at anvende automatisk fokusering. For at justere fokus, skal du placere og

holde fingeren på for et motiv tæt på, og på fanen

for et motiv langt væk. Fokusering på et motiv langt væk ( / ) vises i midten, når justeringen af fokus er afsluttet. Den

justerede værdi anvendes, så snart du rører ved knapperne

eller .

• Funktionen AF er praktisk, når du anvender zoomfunktionen, fordi du måske ikke kan bevare det nøjagtige fokuseringspunkt, når zoomforholdet er blevet ændret.

Når videokameraet afslutter tilstanden Manuel eller skifter til fotooptagelsestilstand, indstilles funktionen Fokus automatisk til Auto.
