Kontroller, at strømforsyningen i din bolig svarer til identifikationsmærket, der findes på bagsiden af din afspiller. Installer din fspiller vandret på en solid overfalde (et møbel) med tilstrækkelig plads omkring til ventilation (7,5~10 cm). Sørg for, at ventilationsåb- ningerne ikke er tildækket. Anbring ikke noget oven på afspilleren. Anbring ikke afspilleren på forstærkere eller andet udstyr, der kan blive varmt. Inden du flytter afspilleren, skal du sikre dig, at disksprækken er tom. Denne afspiller er designet til vedvarende brug. Skift af Blu-ray-hjemmebiografen til stand-by-tilstand afbryder den ikke fra strømforsyningen. For at afbryde afspilleren helt fra strømforsyningen skal du fjerne stikket fra stikkontakten, ikke mindst hvis enheden ikke skal bruges i længere tid.

I tordenvejr skal stikket tages ud af stikkontakten.

Udsving i spændingen på grund af lynnedslag kan beskadige enheden.

Afspilleren skal beskyttes mod fugt (f.eks. vaser), stærk rme (f.eks. kamin) og udstyr med stærke magnetiske eller elektriske felter (f.eks. højttalere). Afbryd strømmen til afspilleren, hvis afspilleren ikke fungerer korrekt. Afspilleren er ikke beregnet til erhvervsmæssig brug.
