•Programuppdateringar för icke-kompatibla format stöds ej. (Exempelvis: QPEL, GMC, upplösning högre än 800 x 600 pixlar, etc.)

•Om en skiva av typen DVD-R/-RW inte har spelats in korrekt i formatet DVD Video kan den inte spelas.

•Sektioner med hög bildhastighet kanske inte kan spelas när en DivX-fil spelas upp.

•Eftersom produkten endast stödjer kodningsformat som är godkända av DivX Networks, Inc., kanske en DivX-fil som användaren själv skapat inte kan spelas upp.

DivX (Digital internet video express)

DivX är ett videofilformat som är utvecklat av Microsoft och baserat på MPEG4-komprimeringsteknik för att kunna visa ljud- och videodata över Internet i realtid.

MPEG4 används för videokodning och MP3 för ljudkodning så att användare kan titta på en film med när nog DVD-kvalitet för bild och ljud.
