Kuuntelupaikan etäisyyden televisiosta tulee olla noin 2,5–3 kertaa televisioruudun koko. Jos sinulla on esimerkiksi 46 tuuman kokoinen ruutu, aseta kuuntelupaikka 2,92–3,50 metrin päähän ruudusta.

Keskikaiutin kannattaa sijoittaa etukaiuttimien korkeudelle. Se voidaan sijoittaa myös television päälle tai alle.
