Brug af RDS (Radio Data System) til modtagelse af FM-stationer

Med RDS kan FM-stationer udsende et ekstra signal sammen med de almindelige programsignaler. Som eksempel udsender stationer deres stationsnavne samt informationer om udsendelsestype, som f.eks. sport, musik mv.

Beskrivelse af RDS-funktioner

•PTY (Programtype): Viser hvilken programtype, der aktuelt udsendes

•PS NAME (Stationsnavn): Viser navnet på radiostationen og består af otte tegn.

•RT (Radio Text) : Dekoder den tekst, som sendes ud af

stationen (om nogen), og består af maksimalt 64 tegn.

•CT (Klokkeslæt): Afkoder klokkeslættet i realtid fra FM-stationen.

•TA (Trafikradio ): "TA ON" (TA TIL) viser, at trafikmeddelelser er i gang.

MM`` RDS fungerer muligvis ikke korrekt, hvis den valgte station ikke udsender RDS-signalet korrekt, eller hvis signalstyrken er svag.

`` FM-stationen Visse stationer udsender ikke PTY-, RT- eller CT-informationer, og derfor visses disse ikke i alle tilfælde.

Du kan se de RDS-signaler, som stationen udsender, på displayet.

Tryk på RDS-visning, mens du lytter til en FM-station.

`` Hver gang du trykker på knappen, skifter displayet og viser følgende informationer:

PS NAME ; RT ; CT ; Frequency

•PS (Stationsnavn): Under søgning vises <PS>, og stationens navn vises. Hvis der ikke udsendes noget signal, vises <NO PS>. <PS> vises, hvis der ikke sendes noget signal.

•RT (Radiotekst): Under søgning vises <RT>, og den tekstmeddelelse, som stationen udsender, vises. Hvis der ikke udsendes noget signal, vises <NO RT>.

•Frekvens: Stationens frekvens (dette er ikke en RDS-funktion).

Om tegn der vises på skærmen

Når skærmen viser PS- eller RT-signaler, anvendes følgende tegn.

•Skærmen skelner ikke mellem store og små bogstaver, og der anvendes altid store bogstaver.

•Skærmen kan ikke vise bogstaver med accenter. <A> kan f.eks. stå for accentuerede A'er, som f.eks. <À, Â, Ä, Á, Å og Ã>.
