Enhanced Write Filter (EWF)

Der Enhanced Write Filter (EWF) schützt ein Flashspeichervolumen vor Schreibzugriff und gewährleistet so die Haltbarkeit der Flash-Speichergeräts. EWF stellt für den Client den Lese- und Schreibzugriff über einen Cache bereit, anstatt direkten Zugriff auf ein Flash-Speichervolumen zu ermöglichen.

Wenn EWF aktiviert wird, werden keine Daten auf dem Flash-Laufwerk gespeichert. Die im Cache zwischengespeicherten Daten sind nur verfügbar, während der Client in Betrieb ist. Die zwischengespeicherten Daten werden bei Neustart oder Ausschalten des Client gelöscht. Um Daten, die in die Ordner Registry, Favoriten Cookie usw. geschrieben wurden, zu speichern, sollten Sie die im Cache gespeicherten Inhalt in den Flash-Speicher verschieben. Eine Fehlermeldung wird angezeigt, wenn es wegen unzureichendem Speicherplatz nicht möglich ist, Daten in den Cache zu schreiben. Wenn diese Nachricht angezeigt wird, müssen Sie EWF deaktivieren, um den EWF-Cache auszuleeren. Durch einen Doppelklick auf das EWF-Symbol in der Taskleiste am rechten unteren Bildschirmrand können Benutzer den EWF-Manager aufrufen. Benutzer können die EWF-Konfiguration auch durch Eingabe der EWF-Verwaltungsbefehle in der Eingabeaufforderung ändern. Diese Aufgabe setzt Administratorrechte voraus.
