Det kan hende at Allshare play ikke fungerer som det skal med ulisensierte multimediafiler.

Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) støttes ikke.

Støttede filsystemer inkluderer FAT16, FAT32 og NTFS (kun lesing).

AllShare Play støtter det sekvensielle JPEG-formatet. Funksjonen støtter derimot ikke det progressive JPEG-formatet.

Det tar lengre tid før bilder med høy oppløsning vises på skjermen.

Høyeste JPEG-oppløsning som støttes er 15360 x 8640 piksler.

Hvis en fil er skadet eller ikke er kompatibel, vises meldingen "Not Supported File Format".

Når bilder sorteres i mappevisningsmodus, kan maksimalt 1000 bilder vises i hver mappe.

Hvis en USB-enhet inneholder 8000 filer og mapper eller mer, kan det hende at enkelte filer og mapper ikke kan åpnes.

MP3-filer med DRM som er lastet ned fra betalingssider, kan ikke spilles av. DRM (Digital Rights Management) er et system som beskytter opphavsretten til data som distribueres via Internett eller andre digitale medier ved å legge til rette for sikker distribuering og/eller fjerne muligheten for ulovlig distribusjon av dataene.
