Hvis den primære eller sekundære kilden ikke gjenkjennes, søker skjermen på nytt, og hvis ingen aktiv video blir funnet, viser skjermen meldingen om at det mangler signal.

Når Primary Source-valget er angitt til All, søker skjermen etter alle videokildeinngangene to ganger etter hverandre mens den ser etter en aktiv videokilde, og returnerer tilbake til den første videokilden i rekkefølgen hvis ingen video blir funnet.
