Q:Käynnistävän USB-flash-muistin luominen

A:1) Voit muuttaa tavallisen, vähintään 512 megatavun USB-tallennusvälineen käynnis- täväksi muistiksi tähän tarkoitetulla ohjelmistolla. (Voit käyttää esimerkiksi HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool -ohjelmistoa.)

A:2) Kopioi käyttöjärjestelmän levykuva ja suoritettavat ohjelmat USB-muistiin.

A:3) Avaa tietokoneen BIOS-valikko painamalla F2-näppäintä BIOS-näytössä. Ota sitten käyttöön USB Boot First -vaihtoehto ja paina Enter-näppäintä käynnistysvalikossa.

A:4) Käynnistä tietokone DOS-tilassa USB-muistin ollessa kytkettynä.
