•Kaikki tiedonsiirto tapahtuu heksadesimaalimuodossa. Tarkistussumma lasketaan laskemalla kaikki muut arvot paitsi etuliite yhteen. Jos jäljempänä näytetyissä tarkistussummissa on enemmän kuin kaksi numeroa (11+FF+01+01=112), ensimmäinen numero poistetaan.
