Compatibiliteit van schijf en indeling

Secure Media (DRM)-bestanden worden door dit product niet ondersteund.

Cd-r-schijven

•Afhankelijk van het opnameapparaat (cd- recorder of computer) en de staat van de schijf kunnen sommige cd-r-schijven mogelijk niet worden afgespeeld.

•Gebruik een cd-r van 650MB/74 minuten. Gebruik geen cd-r schijven van meer dan 700 MB/80 min, want die kunnen mogelijk niet goed worden afgespeeld.

•Sommige cd-rw-schijven (overschrijfbaar) kunnen mogelijk niet worden afgespeeld.

•Alleen cd-r’s die op de juiste manier zijn ‘afgesloten’ kunnen volledig worden afgespeeld. Als de sessie wel wordt afgesloten maar de schijf open blijft staan, kan deze mogelijk niet volledig worden afgespeeld.

MP3-cd's

•Alleen cd-r-schijven met MP3-bestanden die zijn opgeslagen in ISO 9660- of Joliet-indeling kunnen worden afgespeeld.

•MP3-bestandsnamen mogen geen lege spaties of speciale tekens bevatten (. / = +).

•Gebruik schijven met een bitrate van minimaal 128Kbps.

•Alleen multisessieschijven waarvan de sessies achter elkaar zijn opgenomen, kunnen worden afgespeeld. Als er een leeg gedeelte voorkomt op een multisessieschijf, kunnen alleen de bestanden worden afgespeeld die voor het lege gedeelte staan.

•Als de schijf niet is afgesloten, duurt het langer voordat het afspelen begint en worden mogelijk niet alle aanwezige bestanden afgespeeld.

•Bij bestanden die zijn gecodeerd in de indeling VBR (Variable Bit Rate),(d.w.z. bestanden die zijn gecodeerd in zowel een hoge als een lage bitsnelheid - 32Kbps ~ 320Kbps), kan het geluid bij het afspelen overslaan.

•Per cd kunnen maximaal 999 nummers worden afgespeeld.
