7 Entrez l’authentification réseau, le cryptage des données (WEP), le niveau de cryptage, l’indice clé et le mot de passe de sécurité sans fil configurés pour le point d’accès cible ou pour le réseau de stations clients dans la fenêtre Paramètres de sécurité, puis cliquez sur Suivant.

L’authentification du réseau, le cryptage des données (WEP), la clé de cryptage et le mot de passe d’un point d’accès sont configurés par le programme de gestion du point d’accès.

Pour obtenir des informations relatives à la sécurité, vérifiez les paramètres de sécurité du point d’accès ou contactez l’administrateur de votre réseau sans fil.

Pour établir une connexion à un réseau de stations clients (Ad Hoc), saisissez le mot de passe configuré lors de la première création du réseau de stations clients. Il n’est pas nécessaire de saisir l’authentification réseau ni l’indice clé.

Paramètres de sécurité

■Authentification réseau : L’option d’authentification réseau comprend systčme ouvert et clé partagée. Lorsque vous choisissez systčme ouvert, aucune authentification n’est appliquée (le cryptage est néanmoins pris en charge). Lorsque vous choisissez clé partagée, une clé WEP est utilisée pour l’ authentification. Le paramčtre par défaut est Systčme ouvert.

■Cryptage des données (WEP) : La norme IEEE 802.11 WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) définit deux niveaux de cryptage, une clé de 64 bits (parfois représentée par 40 bits) et une clé de 128 bits.

■Indice de clé : Sélectionnez la clé de cryptage actuellement utilisée par le point d’accčs, parmi les valeurs de 1 ą 4.

■Utilisation de la clé de cryptage : Cliquez sur Utiliser la phrase mot de passe pour l’activer, puis entrez 5 (pour 64 bits) ou 13 caractčres alphanumériques (0 ą 9, a ą z ou A ą Z) (pour 128 bits).

8 Lorsque la fenêtre Terminé s’affiche, cliquez sur OK. Lorsque une connexion sans fil à un point d’accès est établie, l’icône connexion () s’affiche en face du nom du profil connecté.
