Bar (block) calls

To activate this function, you need a barring password from your service provider.

To bar calls from specific numbers,

1.On the Home screen, press <Start> → Settings → Phone.

2.Select Voice Calls or Video Calls → Call Barring.

3.Select the type of calls you want to bar and select a barring option.

4.Enter the barring password and press <Done>.

If you enter the incorrect barring password three times, the device will lock. Contact your service provider.

Send a text message

1.On the Home screen, press <Start> → Messaging → SMS/MMS.

2.Press <Menu> → New → SMS.

3.Enter a phone number or press

<Menu> → Add Recipient to select a contact.

4.Scroll down and enter your message text.

5.Press <Send> to send the message.
