Removing the battery

1.If necessary, press and hold (located at the top-left of your device) until the power-off image displays.

2.Remove the battery cover.

3.Lift the battery away from the device.

Charging your device

Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Use the travel adapter to charge the battery, and use only Samsung approved batteries and chargers. Use of the wrong adaptor could damage your phone and void your warranty.

Note: You must fully charge the battery before using your phone for the first time. A discharged battery recharges fully in approximately 200 minutes. You can use the phone while the battery is charging, but this causes the phone to charge more slowly.

1.Plug the connector of the travel adapter into the jack on the left side of the device.
