FDN List

FDN List

FDN (Fixed Dial Number) mode, if supported by your SIM card, allows you to restrict your outgoing calls to a limited set of phone numbers.

The FDN List allows you to set up a list of numbers that your phone may dial.

FDN mode must first be enabled in the Security settings. See "FDN mode" on page 108 for more information on changing this setting.

To enable FDN mode, a PIN2 number is required. You can obtain your PIN2 from your service provider.

Management

The Management menu allows you to select where your contacts will be saved, copy your SIM contacts to your phone, delete your contacts, or check your memory status.

Default Saving

The Default Saving option allows you to choose where your contacts will be saved. The following options are available:

SIM Card: new phonebook contacts will be saved to your SIM card.

Phone memory: new phonebook contacts will be saved to your phone.

Ask on saving default: you will be prompted to choose between Phone memory or SIM Card whenever you save a new contact.
