When the [Resume] menu (p.89) of each mode are set as [Off], the
browsing menu doesn’t open. If the last played fi le was deleted, the
browsing menu opens though the setting is the same as above.

Playing back the VBR (Variable Bit Rate) fi le. A VBR fi le varies
the amount of output data in each time segment based on the
complexity of the input the data in that segment. When the VBR
encoded fi les are played back, the LCD will appear as shown.
The VBR icon will be displayed instead of the Bit rate icon.
Playing time will be displayed but not the total running time.
For about 2 seconds of the start and end frames of the PMP fi le, no
camera button except the
POWER
button can be operated.
When an MP3 fi le doesn’t play back correctly, download a free MP3
conversion program and convert it before using the MP3 fi le on the
camera.
Depending on the fi le type, the movie may be paused during playing
back in the PMP mode. The movie restarts automatically and it is
not a camera malfunction.
