Farve Temperatur

Farvetemperatur er en forenklet måde at karakterisere de spektrale egenskaber for en lyskilde. En lav farvetemperatur medfører et varmere( mere gult/rødt) lys mens en høj farvetemperatur medfører et koldere (mere blåt) lys.

COMPOSITE IN Port

A COMPOSITE IN Port er en generel videoindgangsport (gul). Både chrominans og luminans udsendes via det samme 75-ohm kabel.

Komponent Port (Grøn, Blå, Rød)

Komponentporten udsender separat luminans signal og giver den bedste kvalitet af alle videotilslutningstyper.

Digital Udsendelse

Digital Udsendelse er et TV udsendelsessignal digitaliseret og udsendt i henhold til United States terrestrial digital broadcast specificeringer, eller ATSC.

DVD (Digital Versatile Disc)

DVD er en storkapacitets mediedisk som kan gemme multimedier såsom video, spil, lydapplikationer, etc. ved at bruge MPEG-2 videokompressionsteknologi på en disk på størrelse med en CD.

DLP (Digital Light Processing)

DLP er en digital fremvisningsteknologi som bruger et DMD panel udviklet af TI (Texas Instruments) i USA.

Dette er en grad af et DMD panel.

DMD (Digital Micromirror Device)

Et DMD panel er en virkeliggørelse af DLP teknologien. Den består af mikroskopiske spejle hvor hvert spejl repræsenterer en pixel.

Ekstern indgang

Ekstern indgang er at tilslutte videoapparater såsom VCR, videokamera, DTV modtager, DVD, etc. til projektoren som en videokilde.

Gamma Mode

Gamma Mode kompenserer for videosignalet frembragt til analogiske fremvisningsapparater såsom CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) så videosignalet kan blive klart vist på et digitalt fremvisningsapparat.

HDMI

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) er en grænseflade, der muliggør digital overførsel af lyd- og videodata med et enkelt kabel.

Forskellen mellem HDMI og DVI er, at HDMI-enheden er mindre og er forsynet med kodningsfunktionen HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection).

Overskan

Overskan skærer kanten af billeder når der er unødvendig information, billeder eller støj i kanten af billedet. Ved meget dårlige videosignaler, kan nogle unødvendige videosignaler blive vist på skærmen.

RS-232C Port (Service Input Port)

Denne port er til serviceformål. Denne port giver datakommunikation i henhold til RS-232C kommuniktionsstandard.

S-Video IN Port

Denne kaldes for super video. S-Video er en type videosignal som har videolysstyrke og farvesignal opdelt for at give bedre billedkvalitet.

Satelit Udsendelse

Satelit Udsendelser udsender programmer via satelit så at programmet kan ses i alle områder i meget høj billed og lydkvalitet. Cirka 100 kanaler inklusiv offentlige kanaler er til rådighed. For at kunne se satelit TV skal du installere en ekstra modtager.
