Step1). SetuptheDDNSconnectionasfollowsattheNetworkSettingsmenuintheSVR‐470main
frame.
PresstheMenubutton,andthenselecttheNetworkmenu.Thefollowingscreenappears.
Onthefollowingscreen,changeDDNSto"ON,"andthenpress"ENTER"

① SERVERADDRESS:EntertheaddressoftheDDNSserver.
② Thedefaultserveriswww.samsungipolis.com.
()Caution:Donotchangetheservernameunlessitisnecessary.)
③ ID:EntertheDomainregisteredatwww.samsungipolis.com.
④ PW:Enterthepasswordregisteredatwww.samsungipolis.com.
Onceyoufinishthesettingsabove,theDVRmainframeisreadytoconnecttotheDDNS
server.
Step2). Onceyoufinishthesettingsabove,movetotheregisteredDDNSserver.(Referto
6.3.1DDNSRegistration.)

IftheDVRisconnectedtoacablemodemoranxDSLmodem,anewIPaddresswillbeassignedeach
timethedeviceconnectstotheISP.Insuchacase,theusermaynotbeabletofindouttheDVR'sIP
address.ByregisteringaDVRwithadynamicIPaddresstoaDDNSserver,theDVR'sIPmaybe
identifiedbyconnectingtotheDDNSserver.
ToregisteradynamicIPaddresstoaDDNS,followtheinstructionsshownbelow.

