It can be difficult to take photos of fast-moving subjects or capture natural facial expressions and gestures of your subjects in photos. Also, it can be difficult to adjust the exposure correctly and select a proper light source. In these cases, select one of the burst modes.

t You can use the flash, only when you select Single.

t Depending on the selected face detection option, some burst options are not available.

Taking continuous photos

1 Rotate the drive mode dial to C.

2 Press and hold [Shutter].

t While you are pressing [Shutter], the camera takes photos continuously.

t The maximum number of photos depends on the capacity of your memory card.

t When taking continuous photos, the status lamp may blink.

t Even if the drive mode dial is rotated to C, your camera may take a single photo depending on the selected options or modes.
