TAKING AN ORAL TEMPERATURE
Approximate reading time: 30 seconds
NOTE : Relax and wait approximately 5 minutes with your mouth closed before taking a reading if you've just consumed any hot or cold beverages, exercised or smoked. This will reduce chances of possible high or low temperature readings.
1. Place a new or clean and undamaged probe cover carefully over the thermometer tip.
2 . Place the probe tip under the tongue as near as possible to the heat pocket. The diagram below also shows the temperature variables by not placing the tip in the heat pocket areas. Hold the thermometer still in the same spot and mouth should remain closed for most accurate reading.
3.The current temperature is shown and the °F (°C) will continue to flash during the reading.
4.When peak temperature is reached, the °F (°C) will stop a flashing and four quick beeps will sound.
5.To turn the unit off, press the On/Off button, otherwise the unit will automatically

1.Place a new or clean and undamaged probe cover carefully over the thermometer tip.
