Povezava v omrežje

Televizor lahko nastavite tako, da lahko dostopa do interneta prek lokalnega omrežja (LAN-a) z ožičeno ali brezžično povezavo.

Omrežna povezava – brezžična

Televizor lahko povežete v omrežje LAN s standardnim brezžičnim usmerjevalnikom ali modemom. Za vzpostavitev brezžične povezave morate najprej povezati “kartico Samsung za brezžični LAN” (WIS09ABGN, WIS09ABGN2, WIS10ABGN – naprodaj posebej) z vrati USB 1 (HDD) ali USB 2 na hrbtni strani televizorja. Kartica Samsung za brezžični LAN podpira komunikacijske protokole IEEE 802,11a/b/g in n. Samsung priporoča uporabo IEEE 802,11n. Pri predvajanju videa prek povezave IEEE 802,11b/g lahko pride do motenj.

Večina brezžičnih omrežnih sistemov je opremljenih z varnostnim sistemom, tako da morajo naprave, ki dostopajo do omrežja prek dostopne točke ali brezžičnega usmerjevalnika (običajno brezžičnega delilnika IP), oddati šifrirano varnostno kodo, imenovano ključ za dostop.

Če je za brezžični usmerjevalnik izbran način čiste visoke prepustnosti (Greenfield) 802,11n in je način šifriranja nastavljen na WEP, TKIP ali TKIP AES (WPS2 mešano), televizor Samsung ne bo podpiral povezave, ki je v skladu z novimi specifikacijami potrjevanja Wi-Fi.
