●● 480i / 480p / 720p / 1080i / 1080p

Generalmente si riferisce al numero di righe di scansione effettive che determina la risoluzione dello schermo. Vi sono due modalità di scansione: interlacciata e progressiva.

––Scansione

Proiezione sequenziale di pixel a formare immagini. Più elevato è il numero di pixel, più vivide e nitide risultano le immagini.

––Progressiva

Metodo di scansione sequenziale che scansiona ogni riga, una dopo l'altra.

––Interlacciata

Metodo di scansione a scaglioni che scansiona a righe alternate fino al termine della schermata quindi riempie le righe rimanenti.

Esempio) Se il numero di righe di scansione orizzontali è 480i

Scansiona 240 righe dall'inizio alla fine, quindi scansiona le rimanenti 240 righe per un totale di 480 righe. * Le differenze di massima tra 480i e 480p sono le seguenti:

●● ARC (Audio Return Channel)

ARC permette al televisore di riprodurre l'audio digitale su un dispositivo audio e di ricevere l'audio digitale dallo stesso dispositivo audio mediante un cavo HDMI. La connessione ARC è disponibile solo attraverso la porta HDMI (ARC) e solo quando il televisore è collegato a un ricevitore AV compatibile con questa modalità di connessione.

●● DVI (Digital Visual Interface)
