Piemēram) Ja horizontālo līniju skaits ir 480i

Skenē 240 līnijas no sākuma līdz beigām un tad skenē atlikušās 240 līnijas, līdz noskenētas visas 480 līnijas. * Galvenās atšķirības starp 480i un 480p ir šādas:
