Adjusting brightness and color

In Shooting mode, press [m].

Select White Balance.

Select an option.

Description

 

Auto WB: Automatically set the White Balance based on the

 

lighting conditions.

 

 

 

Daylight: For outdoor photos on a sunny day.

 

 

 

Cloudy: For outdoor photos on a cloudy day or in shadows.

 

 

 

Fluorescent_H: For shooting under a daylight fluorescent or 3-way

 

fluorescent light.

 

 

 

Fluorescent_L: For shooting under white fluorescent light.

 

 

 

Tungsten: For shooting indoor photos under incandescent bulbs

 

or halogen lamps.

 

 

 

Custom Set: To use White Balance settings that you define. (p. 74)

 

 

 

Color Temp.: To adjust the color temperature of the light source.

Customizing preset White Balance options

You can customize preset White Balance options except Auto WB and Custom Set.

1In Shooting mode, press [m].

2Select White Balance.

3Scroll to a desired option.

4Press [D].

5Press [D/c/F/t] to adjust the value on the coordinates.

You can also touch an area on the screen.

White Balance : Daylight

 

 

G: Green

 

 

A: Amber

 

 

M: Magenta

Set

B: Blue

6Press [o] to save your settings.
