Tørretumbleren skal ikke bruges hvis industrielle kemikalier er blevet brugt til rensning.

Fnugfilteret skal renses jævnligt hvis tilgængeligt.

Genstande såsom skumgummi, badehætter, vandtætte tekstiler, gummibelagte artikler og tøj eller puder fyldt med skumgummipuder bør ikke tørres i tørretumbleren.

Skyllemiddel eller lignende produkter bør kun bruges som anvist i instruktionerne for skyllemidlet.

Den sidste del af tørretumblerens program er uden varme (nedkølingsproces), for at sikre at genstande får en temperatur hvor de ikke tager skade.

Fjern alle objekter såsom lightere og tændstikker fra lommer.
