Detergent drawer guidelines

The washing machine provides a four-compartment dispenser: two compartments for manual input, and the other two for auto dispensing. With Auto Detergent and Auto Softener enabled, the washing machine dispenses an adequate amount of detergent or fabric softener for each load. See below for details:

Detergent: Use this to add powder or liquid detergent

B Softener: Use this to add fabric softener manually.

C Auto Detergent: Use liquid detergent only.

D Auto Softener: Use fabric softener only.

CAUTION

Do not open the detergent drawer while the washing machine is operating.

Do not use the following types of detergent:

Tablet or capsule types

Ball or net types

To prevent the compartment clogging, concentrated or highly-enriched agents (fabric softener or detergent) must be diluted with water before being applied.

Before moving the washing machine, make sure to empty the detergent drawer that might contain detergent and/or fabric softener. The content in the drawer may spill out on the floor.
