I seguenti simboli forniscono alcune istruzioni per la cura dei capi. Le etichette di lavaggio riportano nel seguente ordine quattro simboli: lavaggio, candeggio, asciugatura e stiratura (e lavaggio a secco laddove necessario). L'uso dei simboli garantisce coerenza tra i diversi produttori di articoli locali e di importazione.
