Pyykinpesukone on asennettava kiinteälle lattialle, jotta se toimii parhaiten. Puulattiat saattavat vaatia vahvistamista, jotta tärinä ja/tai pyykin jakautuminen epätasaisesti voitaisiin minimoida. Kokolattiamatot ja pehmeät laattapinnat eivät estä tärinää hyvin, minkä seurauksena pyykinpesukone voi siirtyä hiukan linkousvaiheen aikana.

ÄLÄ asenna pyykinpesukonetta korokkeelle tai huonosti tuetun rakenteen päälle.

Veden lämpötila

Älä asenna pyykinpesukonetta paikkaan, jossa vesi voi jäätyä, koska pyykinpesukoneen vesiventtiileihin, pumppuihin ja/tai letkuihin jää aina hiukan vettä. Liitäntäosiin jäänyt jäätynyt vesi voi vaurioittaa pyykinpesukoneen hihnoja, pumppua ja muita osia.
