Press and hold the [,] icon and then release in Manual mode.

 The search will stop at the frequency nearest from the point the icon is released.

OR,

Tap the [,] icon to progress through the frequencies one by one in Manual mode.

Moves to frequencies whenever the icon is pressed.

OR,

In Manual mode, turn the frequency scan dial round as if drawing a circle.
