EV Compensation
The EV Compensation menu allows you to adjust the exposure or amount of light that enters the lens while capturing photos or videos. Use this feature to lighten or darken the image when the brightness between the subject and background is not balanced or when the subject occupies only a small part of the photograph. Use a positive (+) EV compensation for spotlight subjects, especially against dark backgrounds or scenes with low reflectivity, such as green or dark foliage.
