INSTALLING THE CARD
Be sure to format a newly purchased card or one that was used in another device before using it in your camera (page 13). If an unformatted card is used, the card itself may become unusable.
Your camera has an internal memory, so you can record without a card installed.

4Insert the card until it clicks into place
i After inserting the card, colse the card slot cover.
To extract the card...
i Press the card in once, and then release it. The card will protrude slightly, and you can then pull it out.
