Using the flash

The flash is not only used for photographing under dark conditions, but is also convenient for example when the subject is in shadow or lit from behind. The flash is available only when shooting single-shot still images.

1 Display the SIMPLE Mode Recording Menu (page 28), select the flash setting, and press the SET button.

2 Select the desired flash operation, and press the SET button.

hThis completes the flash operation setting.

3 Press the [ ] button to take the picture.
