V. AUTOCHANNEL SEARCH – This feature searches channels automatic ally
foryou
PARENTAL

Thisoption allows users to filter TV programs and movies while using the TV tuner. To

usethis option you will need to enter in the password first.

1. PressMENU to open the OSD.
2. Press ◄or ► toselect PARENTAL CONTROL andpress ENTER.
3. Use ▲ or ▼ to select the one you want to adjust and ◄or ► or ENTER to adjust them.
I. LOCKPARENTAL CONTROL – T his feature allows you to input a password
inorder to access the othe r features. (Thedefault password is “0000”)
II. V-CHIP– This feature block s shows under the TV tuner.
i. USV-CHIP
a) MOVIERATING – This feature blocks movies.
b) TVRATING – This blocks shows basedon TV ratings.
ii. CANADAV-CHIP
a) ENGLISHRATING – This blocks English TV sho wsi n
Canada.
b) FRENCHRATING – This blocks French TV shows i n
Canada.
iii. BLOCKUNRATED SHOW –This blocks TV shows with no
ratingssupplied.
iv. DOWNLOADABLERATING – This isa feature under the new V-
chipwhere ratings can be d ownloaded from the channel.
v. CLEARDOWNLOADABLE DATA –This feature clears the
downloadedratings data.
III. CHANGEPASSW ORD– This feature changes the pass wordo fth e parental
controlfunction.
IV. FRONTPANEL LOCK – Thi s feature locks the buttons on the TV from
functioning,except for the POWER button.
V. SOURCELOCK – This featur e locks different sources from working.
