E1 Lint Screen

Keep the lint screen clean. Alint-clogged screen will slow downthe flow
of air.This makes drying time longer and wastes energy. Clean the lint
screenbefore eachload asfollows:
1. With dryer off,remove the screen bypulling straightup.
2. Roll the dry lint offthe screen. Do not wetthe screen or lint; wet lint is
hard toremove.
3. Replace the cleaned lint screen.
Fire Hazard.
Do notuse your dryer while the lint screen is removed.
Itcould cause overheating and possible damage to fabrics and dryer
parts or create a fire hazard. Lint screen must be pushed firmly into
place.

NOTE: A whistle tone will remind you when the lint screen needs
cleaning.
NOTE: If lintscreen gets clogged bydetergent or fabricsoftener build-up,
remove and clean it with a nylon brush, hot water and liquid detergent.
Dry andreplace screen.

i_ Safety Door Switch

For safety, the switch shuts off dryei when door is opened. Dryer will not
start until door is closed andSTART is pushed. Be sure theCycle Selector
Control ison adry setting.

Ik_ Model No. Plate

Shows model and serial numbers. Have these ready if you ever call for
service.

l_ Performance Guide Label

Located inside the dryer door. Gives information on what to do if dryer
does not perform normally.

•El Easy Loader Door

Drop down door is located to reduce stooping. It can also serve as a shelf
forfolding clothes. Thelarge opening makes iteasy to loadand unloadand
to see inside dryer. Clothes in dryer are easy toreach.
NOTE: If dryer drum is stained, clean it with adamp cloth and mild
detergent.
