WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL WORLD OF THE DSP-360

Thank you for deciding to buy a Sennheiser virtual sound system. Thanks to this device you can participate in an electronic revolution allowing you to enjoy high-quality Dolby Surround sound without cumbersome loudspeakers at the back of the room and without centre loudspeakers on the television set.

This is made possible by a digital signal processor („DSP“) which converts the analogue audio signals of your video recorder or another Dolby Surround sound source into a digital signal, processes the Dolby Surround information of the audio signal and converts it into virtual 3D information. The processor then converts this information back to analogue and mixes it with the actual audio signal.

The result is amazing! Your living room becomes a cinema and the virtual surround sound draws you into the action.

You can also listen to this virtual fascination without disturbing others! For this purpose, the DSP-360 includes a powerful headphone amplifier with which the best results are achieved when you connect a set of high-quality Sennhei- ser headphones. An ideal combination which we recommend is operation with the HD 500 FUSION.

Important note: Only Dolby Surround recordings create the correct 3D impression. The processor should not be used for normal stereo recordings.
