higher frequencies the directional pattern is club-shaped. The microphones susceptibility to wind and pop noises is low due to the relative high acoustical membrane pressure. The MKH 416 T can be employed as a microphone for soloists or for commentarv

purposes without using an additional popshield. However, for outdoor work the use of a windshield is recommended.

The frequency response is maintained to have a slight increase at the high frequencies. The so-called close-miking effect is low with this microphone. Therefore, the MKH 416 T gives a weil balanced sound sensation even it is used close up.
