Anynet+

What is Anynet+?

Anynet+ is a function that enables you to control all connected Samsung devices that support Anynet+ with your Samsung

TV’s remote. The Anynet+ system can be used only with Samsung devices that have the Anynet+ feature. To be sure your

Samsung device has this feature, check if there is an Anynet+ logo on it.

To connect to a Samsung Home Theater

1. Connect the HDMI IN (1(DVI) or 2) jack on the TV and the HDMI OUT jack of the corresponding Anynet+ device using an

HDMI cable.

2. Connect the HDMI IN jack of the home theater and the HDMI OUT jack of the corresponding Anynet+ device using an

HDMI cable.

Connect the Optical cabl e between the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPT ICAL) jack on your TV and the Dig ital Audio Input

on the Home Theater.

When following the connec tion above, the Optical jack only ou tputs 2 CH (channel) audio. You will only hea r sound

from the Home Theater’s Front, Left and R ight speakers and the subwoofer. If you want to hea r 5.1 CH audio,

connect the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OP TICAL) jack on the DVD / Satellite Box (i.e. Anyn et Device 1 or 2) directly to

the Amplifier or Home Th eater, not the TV.

You can connect only one Home The ater.

You can connect an Anynet+ device usin g the HDMI cable. Some HDMI cabl es may not support Anynet+ functi ons.

Anynet+ works when the AV device suppor ting Anynet+ is in the standby or on statu s.

Anynet+ supports up to 12 AV devices in total. Note that you ca n connect up to 3 devices of the same t ype.
