2.Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth or a mild detergent. Do not use alkaline based cleaning products.
3.Remember to clean the mesh filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, disconnect from any power, then detach the filter by gently pulling it out. Replace the filter after cleaning.
4.When not in use or for easy storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of kettle.
REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS
Mineral deposits in tap water may form scale in the bottom of the kettle, resulting in decreased operation efficiency. Your kettle should be periodically descaled to maintain product performance. You can use a kettle descaler and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the package to descale. Alternatively, you may use white vinegar and follow the instructions below.
1.Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water to the amount so as to fill the kettle to the MAX level. Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
2.Discard the mixture in the kettle, then fill the kettle with clean water, boil and then discard the water. Repeat several times until the odour of vinegar has been flushed away. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp cloth.
