Calling

Learn to use calling functions, such as making and answering calls, using options available during a call or customising and using call-related features.

You can use the buttons or the touch screen when you make, accept, end or reject calls.

Make a call

1	In Idle mode, open the application list and select
	Phone → Keypad, and enter an area code and a
2	phone number.
	Select	to make a voice call.
	For a video call, select		.

When you hold the device near your face, your device automatically turns off the touch screen to prevent accidental inputs.

3 To end the call, select End call.

•Use the phonebook to save numbers you dial frequently. ► p. 66

•To quickly access the call log to redial the numbers you dialled recently, select Phone → Call log.

•Use the voice command feature to dial by voice. ► p. 99

Answer a call

1 When a call comes in, select Accept.

When the device is ringing, press the Volume key to mute the ringtone.

2 To end the call, select End call.
