17FUNCTION: Switches the remote control for TV, CBL/SAT, VCR, DVD and AUDIO operation. Indicator lights up for the current mode. (See pages 52 to 55 for details.)

18LIGHT D: When this button is pressed, some buttons (for example, VOL k/l and CHr/s) on the remote control unit will light. The lighting will turn off if no operations are performed within about 5 seconds. This button is used for performing operations in low-light situations.

19VIEW MODE: Select the screen size. (See pages 37 and 38.)

20ENT: Jumps to a channel after selecting with the 09buttons.

21FLASHBACK: Return to the previous channel or external input mode. (See page 19.)

22CHr/s: Select the channel. (See page 19.)

23MUTE: Mute the sound. (See page 20.)

24MENU: Display the menu screen.

25a/b/c/d/ENTER: Select a desired item on the screen.

26RETURN: Return to the previous menu screen.

27FAVORITE CH

A, B, C, D: Select 4 preset favorite channels in 4 different categories. (See page 26 for details.)

While watching, you can toggle the selected channels by pressing A, B, C and D.

29CC: Display captions from a closed-caption source. (See page 41.)

30AV MODE: Select an audio or video setting.
