Set PIN

 

 

 

 

1Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and then press a/b to select “Parental control” and press d to enter it.

2Press a/b to select a specific adjustment item and press d to enter the setting.

3Press a/b to select the setting and press ENTER or c to return to the upper level menu.

4Press MENU to exit.

Set PIN/Change PIN

1Enter a 4-digit PIN with the number buttons on the remote control.

••If you have a PIN, enter your current PIN.

••If you have lose your PIN, enter master code 0711.

2Enter your new 4-digit PIN and then enter it again to confirm. A message appears to confirm that your PIN has been changed.

Channel Lock Setting

Locks one or more channels and connected devices.

1Enter your PIN.

2Press a/b to select the channel or device you want to lock or unlock.

3At each selection, press ENTER to lock or unlock the channel or device.

••Set PIN/Change PINChannel Lock Setting: The channel is locked.

••US TV Ratings Lock SettingManual background: The channel is unlocked.

4Press MENU to quit.

US TV Ratings Lock Setting

Your TV is equipped with a V-chip that allows you to control access to individual programs based on their age rating and content rating. The program content advisory data are sent by the broadcaster or by the program provider.

If you are receiving channels through a set-top box or cable receiver box connected by HDMI, you cannot use the TV ratings lock. Your set-top box or cable receiver box must be connected through RF or AV connectors.
