PRODUCT EMISSION DURABILITY (EMISSION COMPLIANCE PERIOD)
The 300 hour emission compliance period is the time span selected by the manufacturer certifying the engine emissions output meets applicable emissions regulations, provided that approved maintenance procedures are followed as listed in the Maintenance Section of this manual.
Assembly
This unit comes fully assembled with the exception of the handlebar, cut- ting attachment shield and cutting attachment.

Prior to Assembly
Before assembling, make sure you have all the components required for a com- plete unit and inspect unit and compo- nents for any damage.

Handlebar Assembly
Install the handlebar:
1.Remove four (4) upper cap retaining screws, and remove upper cap from handlebar mounting bracket.
2.Place handlebar on mounting bracket, and secure with upper cap and four (4) screws.
3.Adjust handlebar position for best operator comfort and control, then tighten upper and lower cap retain- ing screws securely.
4.Secure cable to outer tube with two
(2) bands provided.
