Setting the answering machine for

speed dialling

You can choose between the mailbox and the answer-

ing machine (factory setting) of your telephone for fast

access.

Remote operation

You can check your base station's answering machine

from any other telephone (e.g. hotel, pay phone).

Prerequisite:

You can only operate your answering machine remotely

if you have already changed the factory default system

PIN (0000) at home (see page 43).

The current setting is marked with '.

Just hold down thekey on the handset and

you are connected directly to the answering

machine (speed dialling).

 You will find instructions for this in credit card

format in the appendix.
