NOTE
For sharpening a knife, always use both openings for grinding the knife 1:
In the right grinding opening you hold the blade tilted to the right, in the left grinding opening you hold the blade tilted slightly to the left.
1)Hold the knife by its handle with your right hand and smoothly pull it, from the handle to the blade tip, towards yourself (see fold- out page). Thereby, maintain the contour of the knife. Take note that the pressure applied should not be too firm.
2)Carry through a circular motion from the hilt to the tip of the blade.
3)Now repeat the same step on the knife in the other grinder open- ing 1.
4)Repeat steps
NOTE
If you sharpen a knife with a short blade, only the front end of the blade is sharpened.
