3.Tilt out the distribution tray and evaporator pad assembly.

4.Wash all plastic and metal parts (except electrical parts and compo- nents) in humidifier cleaner or a 50 percent solution of vinegar and water.

5.If cleaning is not sufficient, replace the evaporator pad. (See

Replacement Parts and Service, page 7.)

IMPORTANT:

The evaporator pad should be replaced at least once a year

(i.e., once each humidification season). In cases of excessive mineral buildup, more frequent media replacement may be necessary if cleaning is not effective.

The Humidifier also contains a one- piece wick, which must be changed along with the evaporator pad. The wick can be changed easily by lifting out the old one and replacing it with the new wick provided with the evaporator pad.

6.Wipe any loose sediment from the water tray. Make sure no particles are allowed to plug the drain hole.

IMPORTANT: At the end of each humidification season, turn the water supply off and clean the unit.

If, after cleaning or replacing the pad, your Flow-Thru Humidifier does not perform up to previous standards, contact your HVAC contractor for service.
