Principle of Operation

Unfiltered air enters through the return air duct of your home’s HVAC system, carrying dust, pollen and other pollutants. The vast majority of these contaminants are filtered out as the air passes through Skuttle’s highly-efficient Air Cleaner media. The deep-pleated design serves two purposes: 1) it minimizes airflow resistance by providing an expanded area for accumu- lation, and 2) it allows for a longer collection period than standard flat-media filters.
